My Protein – Impact Whey Protein and Peanut Butter

Fitness, food, supplements… Do you remember this blog post? If you have read it, you already know that I don’t take many supplements. Certainly, you also know that I’m just a mama who has fun exercising and her fitness ambitions are rather humble. The mama who pays more attention to the quality of food she cooks for her family and herself and takes a few essential supplements only.

My Protein Impact Whey Protein and Peanut Butter

Well, I thought it was time for one more product to be included in my diet for the better – protein. Why protein? If I want to work out, I’ll have to help my muscles recover. Besides, having an unstable relationship with meat products, I am pretty sure I don’t take enough protein daily. ‘The DRI (Dietary Reference Intake) is 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight, or 0.36 grams per pound’, an article says (Protein Intake – How Much Protein Should You Eat Per Day? by Kris Gunnars, Authority Nutrition). Wow, almost 50 grams a day! I definitely take less than that.

So I chose this one: Impact Whey Protein by My Protein. One serving provides 21 g of protein as well as 4.5 g of BCAAs. My Protein offers a huge variety of flavours, just find yours. Mine is Strawberry Cream and I love it, but the chocoholic in me whispers that next time, I should order one of the chocolate options (quite many, too). Easy to make, low in fat and carbs, and very tasty, this product is my new favourite.

Talking about protein, there is one more product I absolutely love – peanut butter. It’s packed with plant-based protein, and not only is it delicious but it is also a versatile ingredient. Fancy some moist and yummy peanut butter cupcakes? Why not try my recipe? I use the smooth peanut butter by My Protein. It contains 30 g of protein in 100 g and has no added sugar. In addition, it’s rich in dietary fibre, healthy fats, and magnesium. The taste will surprise you. Not the usual taste and texture we know from the supermarket brands. This peanut butter has the real taste of roasted peanuts. Real peanuts with the whole skin on in a spoonful. Different and amazingly good. It simply tastes like real food.

In conclusion, I would say that My Protein will be a regular source of healthy stuff for me.
